About Washington Business Week

The 30+ year story about Washington Business Week is pretty interesting. But what is more compelling is the impact we have made in those 30 years in the lives of teens throughout Washington State. Continually we hear back from alumni of the program who point to a specific point in their lives where a significant impact was made. That’s our truest story – told through the lives of remarkable people who have come in contact with Washington Business Week and who have experienced life-changing results.

Mission/Vision

The Mission of the Foundation for Private Enterprise Education is to educate and inspire high school students to recognize their potential as employees, employers and citizens in a free enterprise society.

The Vision of the Foundation is that the statewide business community and high school educators partner to make learning about the free enterprise economic system accessible to all Washington State high school students.

Washington Business Week offers high school students week-long summer camps and in-school programs during the academic school year. The teen summer program provides hands-on career training in business, healthcare, construction, and manufacturing. Summer camps are held throughout Washington (WA). Look for teen summer camps in Tacoma, Ellensburg, Bellingham and Spokane.  Washington Business Week and the Pathways are programs of the Foundation for Private Enterprise Education, a 501(c)(3) organization.
